Can you ask IPS to return your supporting documents quicker!

Hi Guys,

I applied last week for my first adult British passport post naturalisation through check&send.

My questions are:
1- How soon post applying for British Passport, you can ask IPS to return your supporting documents back?

2- If the IPS agrees to return your documents back, what is the time frame to receive them?

3- Do you need to withdraw your application if you need your current passport to fly urgently abroad? Or you can fly and keep the application in process?
