Please advise on getting Tier 1 extension

Hey guys I need your advise in getting my UK Tier 1 work permit visa extended.

I was on a UK Working holiday visa from Oct 2007 - Feb 2009. Then I got my Visa extended and got UK Tier 1 work permit Visa for a period of 3 years i.e. Mar 2009 to Mar 2012. I was planning to extend my Visa in Feb 2012.

In Jan 2012 I came to India as I had to attend my sisters wedding and wanted to return back in 2 weeks. But unfortunately met with a major accident and was hospatilised for almost 3 months and was bed ridden since then. So, I wasn't able to return back to UK for extending my Visa and the Visa got expired. Luckily I recovered majorly and want to come back to you as I have my whole career in UK and immensely miss the country. As you can see I genuinely was not able to extend my visa, I would want to extend my visa.

I already approached my company to sponser me, but they said they do not have sponsporship certificate and hence cannot help me. So, I am left helpless.

So, please advise me on how can I extend or get visa to enter UK.

I am not really sure what you can do but the only thing that I could think of is find a sponsor in UK if not apply for Tier 1 extention if UKBA allows you. you might need to get advice from UK embassy..
