how are tier2 and tier2 dependent clubbed for the appoinment

I'm applying for both tier2 main and dependent application. I believe separate form is to be filled for dependent.
I wonder then how do 2 applications are clubbed together then?

Also for applying i found this sequence on vfs form
1. Type of VISA : Work
2. Purpose of Application: PBS tier2
3. Type of Application: Tier2 partner
Hope this is right?
