UK Visit visa for son born in uk

Hi,

I will be very soon eligible for ILR, my son was born in the UK 4 months ago and had to travel to India with my wife.

Now they want to come back and i want to apply for a visit visa for my son rather then dependent as the dependent visa cost too much plus after 2 months he will be eligible for naturalization as British.

Could you please recommend how should I approach the UK embassy and explain this please
