Contractor - which center for PEO - UKBA confusing on calls

Post by betogether » Thu Oct 11, 2012 9:30 am

Hi Experts,

I am starting new post just because I am going crazy by the UKBA call center everyday
As you can see the detail of my query regarding appointment on this post (http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=115263).

In addition to that biggest question coming up is that
which center will consider contractor (self employed = director of own IT company)?

Every day I call UKBA and get different feedback.
Yesterday - they said only Croyden will do it
Today - they said no center will do it you must do it by post - even she said on call that it is mentioned somewhere

I am already getting mad in the night while trying the appointment (only succeeded for Belfast yet) and every morning these guys make me more worried.

I really don't know where the right info is

Thanks for your quick input!

To God alone be ALL the GLORY and PRAISE.

Thanks to all who shared their experiences on this forum, its been very helpful.

Arrived at Liverpool office @ 8.30 today (20/9/12)as appointment was 9.00am.

Current status - Tier 1 general (Director of Limited Company)

8.40 - called for pre check of forms.
8.50 - made payment
9.01 - called by CW who asked for completed application forms. Asked what doc i have for her. said i have
1. Accountant letter
2. Dividends vouchers and payslips
3. business and personal bank statements
4. Life in the UK pass letter for myself and dependant
(NOTE: CW was interested in the movement from bus acct to personal acct. she picked few at random and they match)

I offered her photocopy and she greatly accepted them all.

@ 9.40 - called forward for biometric - all was done in 15mins.
@10.10 - gave me the breaking news - I'M HAPPY WITH UR APPLICATION ur ILR approved for both of you. Handed me a letter, to expect my bio card by post within 7days.
@10.15 - Out of PEO building. (Spent 75mins all together).

Had other documents but was only interested in the above.

Liverpool PEO is great and are very professional - will score them 100%.

Wishing you all too best of luck in your application.

Any question pls mail me, happy to answer all.

Cheers

Thanks for your response!

Has some one applied from Belfast recently as a self employed (director of own IT company)?
Or if anyone have info regarding the same please share.

As I haven't got any other appointment yet, so I might end up with only existing appoint of Belfast on 20th of Nov. Please suggest if I should go there or not?

Thanks in advance.
Your response will be a bug help/relief for me

Regards
Betogether

Thanks again!

To be more precise I am an IT consultant and have own IT company register through which I invoice my client.
I run salary + dividend for my self as a director.

Will I be fine in Sollihul or I should reschedule it to Croyden?

Please suggest.

I will be really thankful if anyone can suggest.
If I have to reschedule it to Croyden then I will have to do it tomorrow night because I am not left with many days.

Thanks again for you support.

Regards
Betogether.

There is a utility called "search" available for members to use.

A simple search using the keywords - Solihull & director - would have helped you find the answer on your own without having to create multiple topics regarding the issue or having to wait for others to tell you something that you can find out on your own in under a minute!!
Life isn't fair, but you can be!

I would still thank you for sparing time and giving this answer.
The reason of question was because of multiple input at UKBA call center and to check if something recently changed. :(
I have always tried to search first and post if I am not fully sure and I assume that's the motive of everyone here.

Never mind - Thanks mate.
I would still appreciate if someone can suggest that if something recently changed as commented by UKBA call center to me regarding sollihul considering directors of own company or not..
