Am I eligible for ILR (10 year long residence)?

Post by derek0o0 » Thu Oct 11, 2012 10:07 pm

I first entered UK as a student (Tier 4) in Sept 2002.
I graduated in uni in July 2012.
Now I am holding Tier 5 visa to work as a pre-registration pharmacist, which will be expired on August 2013.
Therefore it has been more than 10 years I lived in UK.
Between Sept 2002 and Sept 2012,
the maximum length of period I left UK at once was about 3 months.
But the total period of time I left UK during the 10 years was about 30 months, as I went back home for Xmas, Easter and Summer holidays.
I heard someone said that the total time in 10 years u can spend outside UK cannot exceed 18 months.
So, am I eligible to apply ILR?

Thanks !
