My friend's child was born in the U.K few months ago and got his British Passport . My friend got his British passport last week and now thinking of surrendering his Indian passport and apply for OCI . His wife is Indian citizen. My question is can the child of my friend apply for OCI , as he was born here in the U.K and never held Indian passport . If so can both the father and the child apply for OCI in one application .

I am thinking of applying for an OCI. I was born in Kenya and was an Indian passport holder before getting a British one. I have already surrendered my Indian passport but cannot find my birth certificate. Will i still be able to apply for an OCI. My mother is an Indian passport holder. Please advice
