Hi All,

My husband is suffereing from a severe tooth ache went to the dentist and he has handed him a treatment pln worth £500 ( private treatment)

Not sure can I opt for the NHS treatment and will it be counted as public fund as we are on the HSMP Visa and its written "Norecourse to Public Funds"

I will extremey thankful If someone can clarify as my husband (main applicant cant sleep at night due to that toothache)

It's not a public fund but it's not something that has universal access. It's unlikely he will qualify. Even if he did qualify, finding a NHS dentist is like looking for water in a desert.

Thanks Luca

The denstist my husband went said they can register for NHS and can opt eithter for the private dental care ( treatment will be done by seniot experienced dentist) or NHS treatmeht Band 2 he will have to pay £48

Cant decide whether to go for that NHS traetment of £48 and can this will have any efefct of our HSMP visa afterwards.

Pz plz help us in clarifying the situation.

Regards
