Tier 1 General Extension - Away from Work due to maternity

Post by ShivaK » Fri Oct 12, 2012 2:28 pm

Hi,

Sorry If this question has been posted already..

We got visa in feb 2010 and have extension in feb 2013.. We are not sure whether we are calculating the earnings correctly.

My wife worked as a contractor for 9 months till april 2011, then she was off work because of pregnancy. she started working again from April 2012 she is into full time job now will continue till feb 2013 (which will be 9 months by date of extension i.e feb 2013).

we are not sure whether the earnings before maternity can be considered to claim the points? as my wife is started working from April 2012 which is only 9 months in total.

your suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks
SK
