Tier 2 General ILR Query

Dear Consultant,

I have been in the UK from Jan 2010. My different visa status are as below:

18 Jan 2010 : Tier 4, Student Visa approval
31 Jan 2010 : Entry to UK with Tier 4, Student Visa approval
16 March 2011 : Application and approval of Tier 1 POST STUDY Work Visa
16 March 2013 : Tier 1 Post Study Work Visa will expire

I have been working as permanent employee from last 10 months. My employer is listed in Register of Sponsors and agreed to sponsor my Tier 2 General visa.

My query is, if I switch to Tier 2 (General), am I eligible for ILR? If yes, when will I be eligible to file for ILR in the UK?
