EEA2 application with Spanish 5 year residence card?

Hi there,

My husband (non-EEA) and I (dutch) are planning to move to London and apply for EEA1 and EEA2. However, my husband already got his Spanish 5 year residence permit. Does anybody know if there is a shorter/easier way of obtaining a UK permit with his Spanish residence card? Or do we have to start all over again, building up treaty tights and awaiting the 6 months application period?

Yes! Start all over again and get another same 5years like Spanish card.
there is no any short cut.
