Income from two jobs for £18,600 req

Post by st pauli » Sun Oct 14, 2012 10:25 pm

Can we clear this up once and for all? Previously I had been under the impression that if you had worked at least 12 months at your main job, you could top that up with 6 months earnings at a second job and then show that your combined income for the last 6 months reached £18,600 ??

Now it seems there are some people stating that you can't apply under Category A with more than one employer and would have to go under Category B which works off your combined total income for the last 12 months (multiple jobs) ?

These are obviously very different requirements which would have very different implications for some of us :? For example if you only recently got a pay rise in your 'main' job, then this changes things quite a bit from your point of view....
