Indian Passport renewal

Hi,

Not sure if I can post this thread here.

I need to renew my Indian passport in HCI London.

Has anyone done experienced it? Is it a one day process?

I heard that there will be a big queue from early morning outside the building, and they serve on first come first serve basis.

Go early to beat the Q, you have to hand it in and then wait for it be ready, it could take a few weeks.
