once she has been assigned the CoS the grant of leave application your employee will need to complete and submit is here:
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... nform1.pdf
there is helptext at the end of the application form.

The Tier 2 policy guidance which your employee may wish to refer to is here:
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... idance.pdf

You, as sponsor, are no doubt familiar with the Tier 2 Sponsor Guidance which is here:
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... iew=Binary

After 5 years in the UK your employee may be eligible to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain which would free her from immigration control. Sugggest you or your employee checks eligibility. In the first instance look here:

the conditions for work permit holders to obtain ILR are in para 134 of the Immigration Rules:
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/polic ... les/part5/

If it is a question of applying for leave to remain in the T2G category the process is:
1. you assign the CoS and once assigned
2. the migrant applies for leave
