Can anyone please telll me how do we get communication for the passport interview please?

I am wondering whether we will receive a letter or expect a phone call please?

Also can anyone please guide me whether we will be given a choice to select our interview office selection?

once you applied for the passport, you will get a letter with number which you will have to call to book the interview.

After booking interview you get letter confirming the same in the post.
