Lost documents

Post by rothmans » Sat Oct 20, 2012 7:49 pm

Failed my Tier4 application  given the right to appeal, but UKBA has lost my original certificate and transcript. One of the reasons they refused my application was because of no original certificate submitted, I am sure I did provide them... I plan to appeal, but not sure what do? Please help.. Thank you

I can't believe that nobody knows what procedure to follow in case of a lost original document by the home office!!!!

There is nothing much you can do as UKBA refused your application coz they did receive originals and you cannot exactly prove that you have submitted the originals. Can you? Its one of the trick they are using with many students which they dont want to issue visa.

So just report this lost documents to concerned authorities and get duplicates issued and proceed further as required.

That is pretty much what I am thinking, just get a replacement from university and carry on with the appeal

Which is better oral hearing or paper-based decisions?
