I will apply for its extension in around March next year. However, due to flat rent contract finished in Feb, I have to move out to a different address, I think i can report this change to police office but I can't make sure if the address of my bank account will be updated, which means there is still my last home address shown on the final bank statement. I just wonder if it will affect my visa extension. Do I need to have a cover letter for that. Thanks for your helps.

Postal address isn't a qualifying criteria for an extension. It doesnt matter where your bank statements are being delivered. What matters is that the bank account belong to you and you have sufficient funds going in for an income and maintained for the maintenance funds.

I am just worry the address of the bank statement is not same as the postal and the one registered in the police station, which will affect its extension.

You are worrying unncessarily. Again, postal address registered with Bank, Police etc isn't a visa qualifying criteria. Case worker isn't supposed to and will not be looking for such details.
But to be on the safe side: Prepare a cover letter mentioning the details. Also, inform your bank in advance of your new address and get it confirmation from them in writing for change of address. You will also fill in a change of address form with the bank so submit this copy as proof.
But again, none of the above is required as Postal address mentioned on bank statements DO NOT isn't a qualifying or disqualifying criteria.
Relax and worry about something else.

Before my application, i will move out to a new address, I can't wait the bank statement updated with the new address, it is coming after my visa application. So all bank statements i can provide is based on the previous address but the address issued with police station and postal is the new one. Is that ok and do I need a cover letter.

Where is it written that bank statements must be addressed to a "(current) residential address" or "correspondence address" or "office address"?
Life isn't fair, but you can be!

Or you are unable to understand what's been told to you three times already:
