From Tourist visa to Tier2 dependent

My wife is here on Tier2 (ICT) short term 1 year visa.
I came on tourist visa and am thinking to apply for Tier2 dependent visa.
As we couldn’t get enough time to apply dependent visa from home country.

Pls share the links for the same & how expansive or reliable is this procedure

It is not possible for you to make this application inside the UK. You have to apply from your home country. If you don't leave the UK when your visit visa expires, you will face a ban on re-entry for 12 months.

‘Switching’ or moving into the route for Family Members tier 1, 2 and 5 migrants
29. For family members of Tier 1, 2, and 5 applicants, switching is permitted when applying as:
• a family member who has or last had entry clearance or leave to remain as the partner or child of a person who had leave under another category and who has since been granted, or is, at the same time, being granted leave to remain as a relevant Points Based System migrant
