OCI application

Hi

Can anybody please help?

I am trying to help my friend apply for an oci card, she was born in India, and she has a british passport, lives in uk, but has misplaced her indian passport, however she has her birth certificate, what other documents are acceptable please?

Will need a notarised affidavit for lost passport.
