Gap in between Tier 2 visas

Hi everyone
I have a query about tier 2 visa. My last tier 2 visa was valid upto 30 sept, i applied for next tier 2 before 30 sept but i recieved it back only on 16 th oct. so the new visa is valid from 16 th oct. my question is, these 16 days gap will be counted as discontinuation of stay when i will apply for ILR ?
