ISA savings for funds maintenance for Tier-1(General)

Post by UK_T1G » Thu Oct 25, 2012 11:57 pm

Hi,

I've been maintaining ISA saving account funds with more than £900 for more than 3 months. Can I show my ISA savings funds for my Tier-1 (General) extension?

Please do advise

Thanks

ISA is individual savings account so should be OK.
I'll be using my ISA. I've always done it via ING and always takes 2-3 days for the money transferred and always got permits using ING.

It'd be same case if you end up having your savings abroad, takes 3 working days for the money to be wired :)

presuming you are talking about cash ISA, this should be fine

Hi Manka,

Would there be an issue with a Fixed Rate ISA? I am going to apply for my son's dependant tier 1 General application next month and am submitting my 2 year fixed rate ISA as supporting proof. My terms and conditions of the account do clearly mention that It is an immediate access ISA and that I would only lose any interest gained per withdrawal. I will really look forward to your response, Cheers.

Regards,

Ali
