Anyone written to the Ombudsman to appeal a denied Sentri

Post by Lozano619 » Fri Oct 26, 2012 3:29 pm

I am looking for any info or past experiences with anyone who has ever written to the Department of Homeland Security Ombudsman? I have been trying to obtain the Global Entry/Sentri card since I work and live in Tijuana Mexico off on on through out the month, but was denied twice due to my ex-husband being a convicted felon. I was told to write to the ombudsman for an appeal. Has anyone ever had to go through this and if so, how long was the wait time to hear a response. I know right now it is taking close to 6 months just to hear if you've been approved so I can only imagine how long it would take to get an appeal going. All responses are greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
