Tier 1 Entrepreneur

Post by helenxxw » Fri Oct 26, 2012 5:58 pm

Hello everyone,
I currently start applying for Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa from Tier 1 PSW visa. I got the following questions:
(1). For £50,000 fund available to invest and maintenance fund £900. Is one bank statement sufficient to present? For example, i got a personal bank statement which has an end balance of £53,000 before applying.

(2). How long do I need to hold £50,000? Do i need to freeze it in my account until my visa is released?

(3). When I register a company online via companies house website and got stuck on filling "Share Capital and Shareholder Details" info. Also since I am quite new to start my own business, anybody has good suggestions in preparing for these documents? For example, from guidance, it requests for
i). Advertising or marketing material;
ii). Articles in newspaper;
iii). Info from a trade fair;
iv). Signed contract.

4).If i got this visa, how long is it valid? I have read from the guidance Section B registered within 6 months of entering. If i failed to fulfill the requirement, my leave may be curtailed(removed).

Sorry for the long and a bit massy questions since I've just started my visa application. My PSW is gonna expire Dec 21st 2012, a bit urgent....
Really appreciate if somebody can answer any of my questions above.

:D

Can he not use only one statement with both investment and maintainance funds? Just in case if he has only one account.
I think so if he/she show £50900 in the account, but £900 is in account from last 90 days and never dropped, then it should b fine and fulfill the funds requirement.

Correct me if I am wrong. Cheers

Yes that's fine. Just need to make it clear to avoid any confusion for the caseworker.

Thanks a lot, guys!!! Yes, I just want to double confirm if ONLY ONE personal bank saving account with balance of £50900 would be enough...Otherwise i need to request HSBC to open a new account. I have already asked them to do so but seemed it's very hard....

All best,
:)

Tier 1 Entrepreneur--eligible to work

Post by helenxxw » Mon Oct 29, 2012 11:23 am

Hi, guys,
My Tier 1 PsW will expire on Dec 21st 2012 and I still want to live and work in the UK. That's why I'm applying for Tier 1-50K Entrepreneur Visa.

Questions:
--Can I work for other companies after getting the visa?
--Alternatively, under this Tier 1, can i go for the interviews and if i get the offer, then switch from Tier 1 to Tier 2 general with company's sponsorship?
--If i decide to study a course, can i apply for Tier 4 student visa from Tier 1 Entrepreneur?

Thx in advance!!

Tier 1 Entrepreneur-£50,000 Company Registration Address

Post by helenxxw » Mon Oct 29, 2012 11:27 am

Another question is when I register a company, i can't use my current residential address because of the sublet problem. Thus I'm considering to use my friend's address. The house is owned by him. What kind of information does UKBA will check about the company & how is it going to investigate? In other words, what risks will my friend face?

Looking forward the answers!! Thx a lot~

I don't think the UKBA cares about where the business is registered. All they want to see is that you business is active and you provide the documents required e.g. contracts etc. So there is no risk.
