EEA RC 5 year granted, now change of status issue

Post by intfenix1976 » Sun Oct 28, 2012 3:25 pm

Hi,

as life is complicated, being an immigrant in another country makes for its own complications. I am in the UK under the unmarried partner visa with 2 years left on it.
I am now with someone else who is also EEA national. We'd like to get married, but not sure if I can apply for EEA residency card based on new marriage with another EEA citizen from in country? do I need to send a letter stating my previous relationship ended? Does there need to be a time break between the two? Thank you for your help

Once you are married you can apply for a Residence Card. In country is fine.
