Is it 10 years continuous lawful residence?

Post by miqbal84 » Sun Oct 28, 2012 6:01 pm

Hi, I came down in September 2000 as a student then I became spouse of my wife(Chef) until Oct 2007 who came down as my dependant in 2002. After failing to keep continuity we became overstayer from mid 2008. However we got discreationary leave to remain from mid of 2011. My legal stay is nearly 10 years but there is a gap of about 1 and half years. I never went out of country during my stay over last 12 years. Please advise me but don't say stupid, does it count as 10 years continuous lawful residence. Thanks
