Tier 4 Dependant Visa - Reduced Maintenance

Post by mizoshake » Sun Oct 28, 2012 11:45 pm

Hi, I want to apply for my wife under T4 dependent (been married since August 2012) to join me whilst doing my Masters degree here in the UK. Question is:

1- When can i apply for reduced maintenance/funds ( i started course in September 2012)
3- Does the reduced funds also apply on my situation (2 months for her + 2 months for me)
2- Should the Bank statements show my funds+her funds+tuition remaining.

1. Regardless of when your course started, if you have been in the UK for 12 months then you fall under reduced maintenance.
2. As stated above.
3. For dependant visa, funds can be either in your account or your spouse's account or joint account. No need to show the remaining tuition fee or any other fees.
