ILR Section 6 - Immigration History

Hi guys,

In Section 6 - Immigration History, do I need to mention when I first came to UK or should it only cover my last 5 years of stay?

I am dumb enough to not to understand the following:

"When did you (the main applicant) first enter the UK? This refers to the date of your first entry into the UK at the beginning of the period of stay on which this application is based."
