Claiming Benefits & Income tax

Post by Maddie » Wed Oct 31, 2012 1:58 pm

Dear All

I am in this impression that if someone claims any Benefits, HMRC puts them on higher income tax band. So in a way they pay you on one hand and take from other.

Please can someone calrifiy is there any co-relations between these two?

Thanks in advance.
