Settlement Visas for Children

Post by DGCouple » Fri Nov 02, 2012 6:40 am

I'm applying for a spousal and dependent visas from the US to the UK. I have sole physical custody over my children, but joint legal custody. The father of my children is willing to sign documentation for our children to settle in the UK with me and my husband. I'm unsure of the forms or letters he'll need to sign. If any... Does anyone have any suggestions? Or examples of letters? Thank you

Assuming this does not contravene the terms of the custody order (although being joint, I fear it may), any competent Family Lawyer will know what sworn declarations the father has to make to clear the child for emigration.

Thank you. I'll speak to a lawyer then.
