You should declare all Civil Judgments because UKBA will check your history .

Wrong information.Example: IF you given fine by court on 1st Jan 2010 then it will be spent on 1st Jan 2015.
You cannot apply for ILR between this 5 year period
Since when did civil judgments become criminal convictions?bluebug wrote:It may not affect your extension however the fine is been endorsed by court so this conviction is unspent until 5years from the date of fine given .

The applicant have to disclose the CCJ BUT his extension or ILR application will not be reused due to his CCJ.(please check the ILR thread for more information as people with CCJ/Default successfully applied received their ILR.
Only for Citizenship they check credit history But again if there is no dishonesty or fraud involved than there will be no problem for him.
Please make other,s life easier rather than difficult.
