EEA2 Residence Card application 6 months delay now, pls help

I sent my EEA2 application on the 1st of May 2012 and it was received on the 2nd of May 2012. COA did not come until I requested my passport back because I needed to travel (1st of July). My passport was sent out with COA letter. Now it is 6 months overdue. I really need my RC in order to secure a mortgage to buy a house. I have just given birth to a one month old baby. There are buyers and sellers of the house involved in this process. If this collapses, it will affect three families. I also plan to travel within two weeks.

I'm just wondering what can I do to follow-up and get my RC? They are breaching EU law and jeopardising people's lives. I have called them on Friday and they said nothing comes up in the system for the update and the decision hasn't been made. All I can do is wait. BUT WHAT THEY'RE DOING IS AGAINST THE LAW!!!

I wrote to them twice to no avail. I'm writing to my local MP, we'll see about that. I tried sending several emails to different addresses I found in this forum and others online but no response as of yet. I am so tired of being treated with no respect.

Please can anyone help me and advise which other way I can do to get my RC???? Thanks.
