It says explicitly that you are banned from entering the UK. If the formal letter stated just that and nothing else, you are fine visiting other countries. That being said, if they find out (and in times of computers and globalisation they easily may), you will have to face a couple of uncomfortable questions on entry.

Thanks Gyfrinachgar really appreciate your reply .. The reason why i am concerned is that Auz and other countries have a section where they ask you "have been deported from any other country or asked to leave" . Now ofcourse i would tick yes but then they would straight away refuse entry . That is the reason for my worry .. Same goes for USA and Canada . Every body around me is travelling and now i dont even have the guts to put in an application and face another refusal . It is quite a harsh punishment for one bad call . Feel trapped . please advice

its been almost a year since you first posted your question. if this situation re CCL still bothers you, you need to find something more realistic and achievable. Move on, I say.

A visa refusal or a refusal of leave to enter is not a deportation. If you were kicked out of the UK (for instance for working on a visit visa) that's another matter and you'd have to tick yes to the question.

Uhm, I think Australian immigration wants to know more than just about deportation. They also want to know whether you've been asked to leave the country or left the country because of potential deportation.

I don't think necessarily answering the questions truthfully would immediately result in a refusal, but I think anyone looking at the details of the case could have their doubts.

Canada also wants to know about any visa refusal, not just deportation, so you will have to declare that to them too. Again, I don't think just saying you've been refused would result in immediate refusal, but it would of course mean someone will have to scrutinise the case.

And then the USA - well, I don't know their rules very well at all, but I still have my case pending with them for additional checks and I've never been refused entry anywhere, so I'm sure they screen people thoroughly.

I think the worst thing you can ever do is lie about it or try to hide what you have done, because it will just create more problems for you than you already have.

All I can say is good luck and be honest!!
