Hi
Having read the FAQs it is still not clear to me about the spouse (who just got ILR and completed 3 years in country) applying with the main applicant (who Holds ILR for 1 year) .
The exact scenario is here :
- I will be applying for naturalisation based on 5 years on Tier1 + 1 year completed on ILR.
- My wife joined me as Tier1 Dependent, and extended using FLR(m).
- My wife has now applied for her ILR based on 2 years completion and also completes 3 years residence by the time I am eligible for naturalisation, but as she would have just got her ILR, she wouldnt have completed 1 year on ILR.
So my question is, will the clauses of spouse of british citizen still apply for spouse of ILR holder and would she be eligible to apply for naturalisation along with myself. (I know she will be eligible as soon as I obtain my citizenship)
The two advantages I see here is the reduced fees when applying together, and saving the extended time it takes to process individual application one after the other ...
All expert advices will be greatly appreciated ...
