proof of employment while waiting for tier 1 general exten

Hello everyone,
Really need urgent help with the above topic. We sent our tier 1 general extension application 3 months ago and did biometric on the 12th of August. Human Res. At work are asking for visa as they said acknowledgment letter is only valid for 6 week? Will like help with any documentation or contact details for empolyer checking services or anything to get them of my back for now.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

1. Make them read Section 3C, particular sub-section 6.
2. Ask them to check your legal right to work in the UK by using Employer Checking Service.
