need help on CoS

i have been offered a CoS recently under tier 2 ICT long term .In the CoS it is mentioned as start date id 9 dec 2012 which is on sunday.I never heard till now the start date of work falling on sunday..can anyone help me in this.Is that fine?

Sunday can be the official start date. You will get paid for Sunday and you don't have to work. :P As far as I am aware this will not be a problem.
