County court judment

Post by uiqbal » Wed Nov 07, 2012 11:45 am

Hi,

Applying for set(o) ilr in december with 2 dependants.
We had a parking contravention, which we failed to pay because of moving house and got a northampton county court judgement for that, after appealing out of time, the county court reversed the judgement and asked the council to refund all the money but just the 65 penalty.

Now i would like to know, do I have to put this in the set (o) form where it asks about an criminal offence or civil judment?

I have checked credit history with experian as well as http://www.trustonline.org.uk for both my new address and old address but nothing appears.

Can somebody guide me about it, please - what to do in this scenario?
Regards,
uiqbal

CCJ has not affect on settlement. Declare the CCJ in the form and don't worry, it will not affect the outcome of the application.

Hi Sushdmehta,

I also have parking contravention but i paid fine on time. My question is , do i need to mention that when I apply for ilr which is due on march next year ?

Thanks in advance.

You don't need to put parking contravention in the form, i have two other but they are not County court judgements, although speeding fine or traffic offence has to be mentioned.

Do i have to put it if it doesn''t appear in trustonline.org.uk section of
England and Wales Orders & Judgments?

Also the decision is reversed, does it mean my name if it exists on the register will be removed or do i have to contact court to remove it?

Just want to have a clean sheet.

Thanks
