new passport query

Hello,

I am on tier 1 g and will be applying for ILR as i am completing 5 years soon. just have a small query about passport. recently i have got my new passport due to damage of old one. do i need to inform UKBA about this?

No you do not have to. I just got my ILR and I changed my passport before my application. Good luck.
