On a 'Tier-2 ICT Long Term Staff' - can I change jobs ?

I am looking for a job in the UK and close to finalizing an option. Assuming the offer materializes , what would be the process further and which visa would I have to apply for, to switch employers ?

Currently, am working in UK on a 'Tier-2 ICT Long Term Staff Migrant' Visa, valid from 30-Aug-2012 till 27-Sep-2014.

Prior to this, I was working on a 'Tier-2 ICT Short Term Staff Migrant' Visa, valid from 01-Aug-2011 till 30-Jul-2012.

The employeer is same. Basically took up an assignment here and travelled on a short term visa. Was promoted whilst here, so returned to home country, applied for a long term visa and came back to continue on the same assignment.

At this point, am applying for other jobs and hence the query, regarding change of employeers.

I have already read other posts as well as the sticky titled 'Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2G' but confused on whether or not I can take up employement here.

You cannot switch to Tier 2 (General), for the same reason as mentioned in the sticky.
You cannot apply for entry clearance as a Tier 2 (General) migrant because cooling-off period applies (245HB(g)).
