Reg: Tier -1 Extension Salary Points Critieria

Post by pnkumar_1975 » Fri Nov 09, 2012 11:31 pm

Hi,

I have tier -1 validity till April 2013. I would like to apply 6 months before and had booked appointment as on 16th November.

Question :Is is OK for me to apply for extension before.

If for the above question is Yes... then I Worked for Organisation as Permanent Employee till May 2012. After that i started Contracting with my Limited Company.

Since I am Applying in November for the below condition ..

12 months Salary consecutive ( 15 months from date of application)

Can i show Salary statements of my Organization where I worked as permanent employee from

Aug-11 to May 2012 as the Amount is equal to getting 45 points

Is that OK to produce as my 10 month earnings to fit the criteria as 12 months Salary consecutive

Please Advice
Regards
pnkumar

yes and yes
no problem with using only 10 months earnings as long as you get enough points.

Hi Forum members,

I work as an IT lecturer. The college remains close in summer holidays(1-June till mid September) and Christmas holidays (December). If I count summer holidays period I am short of for earning point. Extension due in March-13. Can I count my earning as follows
sep-11 , oct-11, Nov-11, Jan-12, Feb-12, March-12, April 12, June-12, Oct-12, Nov-12, Jan-13, Feb 13.

The above period is 12 months over the period of 15.
Does income have to be in consecutive 12 months before application or it can be any 12 months over the period of 15 months before application

Thanks Manka,
What about the following period

Feb-12, Mar-12, Apr-12 , May-12, June-12, Sep-12, Oct-12, Nov-12, Jan-13, Feb-13. Extension due in Mar-13

80. The applicant can claim points for
previous earnings in any single, consecutive
12-month period during the 15 months
immediately before the date of applying.

What I understood from the " Any Single" is to choose any 12 months over the last 15 months. Not necessary has to be consecutive. Please correct me If I am wrong
Thanks

mate, it says consecutive right there, single means a single consecutive period of 12 months so no way of counting any particular month twice like you have done with Feb in your calculation

if you skip a month then earnings for that month will be counted as zero

So , I should count the earning period from Feb-12 to Jan-13.

I had another job but most likely I wont work for that firm. I had earnings from there from Jan-12 till Nov-12. Can I claim points as it is not 12 months.

Thanks in advance

You can claim between Feb-12 and Jan-13, for any number of companies you have worked for.
So for the second company you can claim from Feb-12 to Nov-12, but not from Jan-12

So its mean, I can use the income from the 2nd company for the following period.

From Jan-12 to Nov-12.( extension due in march-13). this period covers consecutive 12 months over the period of 15 months. Correct me If i am wrong
