Is 6 month visa essential for dependent application

Is 6 month visa essential for dependent application

I'm now under Tier 1 General with only have 5 month left on the visa, and my wife is considering to apply the dependent on me. Some one told me that the application will never be approved unless there are more than 6 month on my visa, but I can't find any relevant words on HOME OFFICE website. Anyone have any idea about this? Many Thanks!! (If the 6 month limitation is exist, a link to the policy will be very appreciate)

No.
The expiry date of leave granted to her will have the same expiry date as yours.
