,Hope somebody could advice on my enquiry whether do I qualify or not for British citizen on UKM application.
My mother was born on 1940 in Singapore during UK Colonies. And I was born on year 1964 after Singapore has gained independence from UK. On my Singapore birth certificate it stated my mother nationality as British Subjects and on my brother birth certificate who was born on 1970 it stated my mother nationality as Non- Citizen. My mother did not became Singapore Citizen after independence but hold permanent residence status.
