Travel in to the UK after ILR

Post by KaneBarnet » Mon Nov 12, 2012 10:11 am

I have just got ILR after 5 years ( Many thanks to this board)

I am Australian citizen and I am going to Italy next month. When I travel now with returning to the UK do I use my Australian passport or my ILR card? What about with entering the information on the airline website? Do I enter the details on the ILR Biocard or do enter my Australian passport?

How do Immigration know I an entering with ILR?

Australian passport but carry your biometric card with you. If you've needed a visa to enter a country prior to being granted ILR, you'll continue to need one until you have BC.
