Please Help - Tier 2 Dependent Child Born in the UK

I do apologize if this topic has already been discussed here on the forum. Please point me out the thread if this exists.

Here are the details of my query.

I am on a Tier 2 Visa and applying for my child (1 Year Old) born in the UK .

Can anyone please add/ delete the following documents list for applying a Tier 2 Dependent Visa for the above mentioned child?


1. Point Based Dependent Completed Application Form - Signed by Main Applicant

2. Child Passport

3. Child Full Birth Certificate

4. Letter from A Rated Sponsor to Certify Maintenance

5. Father (Main Applicant) Passport

6. Father (Main Applicant) Biometric Residence Permit


I have two issues why I have asked this question.

a. Do I need to submit details of my job for example salary slips etc.
b. Do I need to submit documents from my wife (Child's Mother) for example address confirmation (Utility bill) or Marriage Certificate (That we are Child's Parents)?

I would be really grateful for any help.
