Hi i applied for my entreprenuer visa tier1 on november 1st received my conformation letter on the 10 of november and am switching frm my student visa to tier 1 first question is how long will all the process take and second question is i want to marry my girlfriend whos british can i still do that will my tier1 is under process please m lookin forwad to hear somekind of information regarding marriage to my gf because i have looked on the internet and cnt find any type of information regarding marrige whilst you visa is under process

Process could take 3 to 5 months.

getting married is not a problem if your application is in process. Question is what you want to do next. do u wish to wait for home office reply or wants to apply for spouse visa. Please take professional advise.

if you are confident with your current application then its better for to wait for out come and then switch however its vary case to case.

You can marry but may need your passport to prove your ID. Not an easy one to resolve.

Hi thanks for the reply shukat bhai i know m pretty confident with my application but i just dont want to take any chances if you know what i mean and secondly i can prove id i have a dvla bank statments etc if thats any good.

You can get a copy of your passport attested from notary public before you send it to Home Office

thanks for the reply but the problem is i have already send all my documents to the ukba for entreprenuer tier 1 so is there something else i can do ?

You can take following docs with you to prove your Identity.

Copy of your passport (if you have kept copy before applying)

Original DVLA licence with counter part

Original Acknowledgement Letter

Original Bank Statements

Any other Utility bills

The above mentioned docs should be enough.
