" we understand that you may no longer be involved ...&

Post by Celina » Sat Nov 10, 2012 12:02 am

Hi everyone .

Since the topic has arrived I wanted to clear some of my confusion regarding this. I have seen that in MANY places in policy guidance UKBA have mentioned "that we undertsand that you may no longer be involved in the same business and you must have moved on , but you still need to show that money was invested ." What do they really mean by this can anyone explain please .

I know they are talking this IN REGARDS to the time of extension. My question is : 1) so if suppose the business does not run in the first place or if Godforbid its not quite profitable , can we change the nature of the business ? is that what they mean ?

2) and if answer to above question is yes , will the other buiness that we opt for should also be from the mentioned source codes or it can be any business ?

3) and as they say " that you still need to show that the money was invested .so do they mean in the first business ? or if we have changed(within 3 years if its acceptable ) in new business or can it be any business regardless the amount 50,000 invested shown ?

please if someone can shed some light on this ,it will be highly appreciated as it sounds very confusing.

Thanks
Celina

No, it's not. That paragraph (61) is with regard to initial applications (at the 200K threshold) where the capital sum has already been invested in the UK (within the previous 12 months) but the investor is no longer active in that business.

Hi, are you saying that on section D route we can not change the nature of business in 3 years time?

I'm saying exactly what I have written! Would you care to read it in context of the question that was asked by Celina. If she has a problem she will respond.
