British Citizenship & Passport inquire?‏

Dear team,

it an honor to me to write this email.And contact. Your. Respective. website am writing this. Email for. Inquire about
the. British. Citizenship , I was born in 10th may 1983 (Durham, England ) and my parents. Are Egyptians. And I have
my British. Birth certificate, my father left Durham after he got
the PHD degree from Durham university ,my family spent there
almost. 5 years from 1980 till 1985, so you can
consider this period as settled or not.

I would like to know that am eligible. For the British.
Citizenship. And passport or not.

If yes let me know the full details , the required documents,
how much it will cost me, do I need to travel to England to
submit My application or I can delegate Your respective
office. And what about the office admissions fees?
and i need to know the best legal office in town ? to start to contact them .

Taking in your consideration that now I live and work in
Egypt.

Children born in the UK after 1st January 1983 would only be British if their parents were settled in the UK at the time of their birth. To be considered settled, one must hold an Indifinite Leave to Remain. You will need to ask your parents if they remember if they have made an application for settlement (ILR) or if they have their passport from that time, you can examine the passport yourself to see if they got such a stamp.
