Tier 2 General Change of emloyment

Dear All,

I guess there might be number of post regarding this, as i am new to this forum reposting with my specific case and hoping to get expert opinion on this.

I am currently on Tier 2 General and willing to change my employment as one of potential employer is willing to sponsor me. So what will be the process involved in this.

I got the WP in 2008(for 5 yrs) and will this change any way affect my eligibility for ILR

The process:
1. new employer to assign CoS to you
2. you to apply for leave to remain as a T2 migrant
3. once application is granted give notice to present employer

I got the WP in 2008(for 5 yrs) and will this change any way affect my eligibility for ILR no (assuming your WP is a Qualifying Work Permit)
