Physical Presence for ILR Appointment (Baby Daughter)

Post by sibaji » Thu Nov 15, 2012 1:17 am

Hi,

I have a PEO appointment in Cardiff on Dec 17 to apply for my ILR. The applicants include only myself and my dependent daughter (only 17 months old).

As I am travelling from Reading to Cardiff for the PEO appointment, I am keen not to carry my baby daughter unless needed.

Can someone please confirm if I need to carry my baby daughter to the PEO office in Cardiff ? (A certain answer would be a great help)

Kind regards.

your baby will need to attend in order for UKBA to take a digital photograph for her BRP.

Do you think you could have skipped your child's ILR? Under certain circumstances it makes better sense not to include them.

Hi wpilr_nov12,

Many thanks for your comment. My daughter, although only 17 months old, was born in India and came to the UK when she was only 4 months old. Her visa expires the same day (Dec 18) as mine.

Can you please let me know why you think I could have skipped applying for her ILR ? Any comment or advice would be highly appreciated.

Many thanks.
