romanian family member rejected

Post by fcbayern » Thu Nov 15, 2012 4:17 pm

hi iam a pakistani citizen married to a romanian citizen and hence im a family member of a romanian citizen. my application to renew my one year permis de sedere temporare was refused based on the fact that i was out of romania for more than 6 months and that i dont live with my wife. since i was not at home when immigration officials arrived at my apartment and after interviewing the neighbours they got to the conclusion that i dont live there with my wife. despite repeated attempts to talk to the immigration office they refuse to listen and have told me that i must leave romania in 30 days. can someone tell me what are my options now and what can i do?

What you require is someone well versed in Romanian immigration procedures. I doubt that very many users here will know much about that. The vast majority is undoubtedly more concerned and better informed about British immigration. While your question is perfectly alright and I fully understand the urgency, you cannot seriously expect users here to provide you with solid advice on such a fairly exotic question within less than 15 hours.

That being said, two questions spring to mind that might prove to be crucial: If you have an address in Romania and are married to a Romanian citizen, why do you have a different address than your wife and why have you been out of the country more than half the time of your permit?? To be be honest: I wouldn't buy that either.
