BRP delivery by Courier

Post by sammy79 » Thu Nov 15, 2012 8:42 pm

Hello,

Just wondering if any one could advice on which courier service UKBA use to deliver BRP cards. Also what proof of ID does the courier or UKBA normally request to see before the card is released? Can the owner of this card authorise someone to receive on their behalf in case they are out working, shopping etc? What should happen if the delivery is missed?

Thanks

Earlier today I was told by cs agent at DX couriers that:
1. Anyone at your address can receive your delivery, provided they are able to show some identification of themselves and the addressee
2. Acceptable forms of ID are passport, driving license, credit or debit card accompanied by a recent statement.

Am I assured? Not really.
Please do not send me PM if I haven't sent you one yet.
